I share a special bond with my daughter, Bella, whom I breastfed for two unforgettable years—a time filled with countless lessons, moments of joy, and the inevitable ups and downs that come with such an intimate journey. Beyond my personal experience, my role as a breastfeeding peer counselor at WIC has been a privilege. Supporting and guiding so many mothers through their own breastfeeding journeys has deepened my understanding and strengthened my passion for helping families navigate this beautiful, yet sometimes challenging, stage.
